{Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real} 7/21/2011

{Pretty}

I was lying in the grass and saw how pretty the clouds were. This photo is all the prettier with Skoshi A's sweet little face against the background.

{Happy}

We've been making one crafty project a week this summer. Last week it was homemade sidewalk chalk paint. This week was homemade silly putty. We used Wilton Gel Food Coloring, which gave us really pretty pastel shades of green, pink, and blue and then we added a touch of glitter too. The kiddos were happy all day playing with their putty. The recipe made tons to share with their neighborhood friends.

{Funny}

Several of the kids have been taking tennis again this summer. Lil' Wingnut was moved from the tots class to beginners. He's the littlest player by far and so cute to boot. The coaches all love him and he's doing really well. He's a real crack up at times. Here he is demonstrating how to hit an overhead shot.

{Real}

When you have such a weird product to craft with the kids inevitably turn to weird uses for the product. Skoshi A found her "diseased" leg grossly hilarious.
