Small Successes: The Lame Version

As in, I am lame, not my successes. I've managed to strain my right calf and so I'm limping around the house very slowly and not getting much done in the way of housework. Still, I managed a few Small Successes this week.

1) Took the family to confession on Saturday. Big sigh of relief, you know what I mean?

2) We're in the kitchen this week, if you fly with the FlyLady. I cleaned the microwave, the stovetop, and the window sill over the sink.

3) Our washer is still not repaired. Hopefully that will happen later this morning, so instead of staying on top of the laundry this week, I spent more time with my little ones. I read to them and sat with them while they played outside. Lil' Wingnut has some new games to play with me, including "Pirate Ship" (he's the pirate and one of his sisters is the damsel in distress), and "Stage Coach" ( he's Wild Bill Hickock and I'm Annie Oakley and we're driving the stage coach from town to town, fighting off attacks from unfriendly Indians). I love his imagination.

What are your Small Successes this week? Leave your link at Faith and Family Live.

Congratulations on all your successes! Getting to confession can be a challenge. If I don't put it on my "to-do" list, it never happens. Sometimes spending more time with my little ones can be my biggest challenge. Awesome week! Hope your half feels better soon!!!

Aside from the injury and laundry dilemma, it sounds good to me. I've not participated in the FLYLADY program in quite some time. Maybe the summer months would be a good time to try again.
