Don't Reach for the Bar of Soap, Just Yet. . .

. . . Baby Wingnut just needs a little speech therapy. He really has difficulty with sound blends like "sp", "tr", and "st". It makes for a bit of fun around here, when puffed up with male bravado we get him to chant "I am Fartacus!" You see, he substitutes the "f" sound for each of those blends. "Spartacus" becomes "Fartacus", "ice cream with sprinkles" becomes "ice cream with frinkles", and "truck" becomes, well, just down right embarrassing! Print Friendly and PDF

Aw! Something he'll outgrow, and I can just see you all (especially a bigger boy) giggling while trying to think of the next word!

Ahhhhh BW my fair-haired sweet swinging potty mouthed nephew...I love you man!!! You and UW are going to definitely be hanging out a lot while you are in town...no ice cream with frinkles though...with your milk "issues" don't need the extra fertilizer. Hey Mau remember Mom's cure for the purposeful potty mouth??? Basic-H. CURSE YOU AMWAY!!!! I can still remember the horrid taste of that liquid soap (lord knows the number of non-innocent colorful metaphors that proceeded from my lips and the "Liquid Solution" mom put into effect. Just love the memories!

Love Ya Mau

Your Bro

You all must remember though that basic H was at least biodegradable!

I've noticed a lot of regular two year olds without speech problems for a little while will say the same thing for "fox". They just don't get that "s" on the end! Hilarious, and never lasts long enough to get on camera or something embarrassing.
