Small Successes: Little Things Count Big

Small Successes for April 29, 2010

1) This weekend Special K will have two very big days; her 8th birthday and her First Holy Communion. We are so excited for her, but nearly as excited as she is. I've been planning and prepping for the festivities this week. She's going to have a grand weekend!

2) Even with the water works Sunday night into early Monday morning, I was able to keep up with the laundry.

3) Tonight our parishes 8th graders will be Confirmed and despite our very busy week, I made 5 dozen double chocolate cookies for the reception.

What are your Small Successes for the week? Give yourself a pat on the back and leave your link at Faith and Family Live.

Double chocolate cookies?
That's not a small success, that's a big one.
So is getting all that washing done!

#4: the ballet class you finished instructing yesterday with the fan dance finale! Loved it! I had tears in my eyes (what a sap I am!)

I shall have to grab one of your cookies. :)

Congratulations to K! Benny's is Saturday too. He has requested that he be taken to Confession on Friday evening so it's as close as possible.

Hey Mau,

To Kitty Kat I want to say way to go!!! First Holy Communion is huge and I hope it is a very special day for her and the family! The weekend will be grand because all attention will be on her! Do you know how I keep up on the laundry...turn the clothes inside out...all clean! Or I just tell the kids to get into the shower with their colthes on because shampoo is just as good as liquid Tide! 5 dozen double chocolate cookies???? You know Mau...my birthday is coming up in a couple of months and even though I'm not an 8th grader preparing to be confirmed I would find that 5 dozen double chocolate cookies would make a FINE PRESENT!!!! Just a thought. Again congrats to little Meow Meow!!! her Uncle Walter loves her!

Love Ya Mau!
