{Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real}


I returned from dropping Sister Olivia off at the Novitiate and have been so busy with Lil' Lamb's 4th birthday I haven't had time to write about our trip.  I'm still editing photos and will definitely blog about our busy, happy, bittersweet week in the next few days.  Until then, here is our pretty postulant, bidding us farewell as the wind gusted around her.  I wanted to cry, but she made me laugh.  She is so happy to finally be where she's wanted to be for so long.  I can't believe she is gone, and for such a long time.

God has truly put Olivia in her place. Some people search their whole lives trying to find where they belong and never do. She saw God's path for her and followed it. You are the one who kept the path clear and free of obstacles. She is so blessed to have you for a Mom. I know your heart is torn but know God chose you to travel this journey with her. I will pray for Olivia and her family.

She is so blessed to have parents who have supported her as she's been called down this path! I can't imagine how you're feeling because I'm feeling All The Things just reading this little bit. I can't wait to read more about your trip.

I loved your post! I just brought my son to the seminary last September. He is so missed, but we know he is so happy. It is bittersweet, isn't it? Let's pray for each other.
